The nominations for the 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards were announced by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association on Monday.
Mary J. Blige getting a nod for her strong performance in the supporting actress category for Mudbound, as well as a nomination for best original song for a motion picture for her collaboration with Raphael Saadiq and Taura Stinson on “Mighty River” from that film.
Mariah Carey also earned a nomination in that category for her work with Marc Shaiman on the title track to the animated film The Star and actor Denzel Washington is nominated in the category of Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for his work in Roman J. Israel, Esq.
