Rick Ross who’s already affiliated with Wingstop as a owner of several franchises will team with the fast food chain to start a scholarship fund for underprivileged youth, Ross recently revealed.
Rick Ross revealed the initiative at an event marking the launch of Wingstop’s new online clothing store Wingshop
The scholarship will be provided to any Wingstop employees who qualify.
Grants will also be provided for education and mentoring programs, with the aim of decreasing the drop out rate in the states Ross operates his franchises.
Over the past several years, Rick Ross has opened new Wingstop locations in multiple states including Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and New York.
Rick Ross is working in partnership with the Wingstop Foundation and Gradnation to establish the scholarship.
