Shots were fired and two people were sent to the hospital after a fight at Stage West in Wichita Falls.

However, the injuries were not sustained from gunshots. Just after 1:15 this morning, the Wichita Falls Police Department responded to a disturbance at Stage West, in the 2700 block of Southwest Parkway.

Authorities said a brawl started involving numerous people, injuring two. After the altercation, numerous shots were fired outside the club. The two injured in the physical altercation were rushed to the hospital with unknown injuries.

At this time, police do not know how many shots were fired. However, they do not believe any people or structures were struck by bullets.

The incident is under investigation.
