Future and the Weeknd have dropped the fiery new video for “Low Life,” the breakout single from the prolific rapper’s most recent LP EVOL.
The Zac Facts-directed video finds the duo performing the cut in smoky warehouses and graffiti-lined back alleys, with an occasional break to cruise around in a Mad Maxed-out vehicle. A bouquet of burning roses bookends the “Low Life” video, a nod to the EVOL album cover, and rapper French Montana makes a quick cameo.
The video arrives nearly three weeks after Future, then making his Saturday Night Live musical guest debut, brought out the Weeknd to join him for his SNL performance. “Low Life” was first unveiled on Christmas as Abel Tesfaye’s gift to fans before it was included on EVOL, Future’s third Number One album in a seven-month stretch; the LP followed his and Drake’s What a Time to Be Alive and DS2 to the top of the Billboard 200.
