Rico Nasty is preparing to release a new album titled RX on July 24, bringing her back into the loud, colorful world that helped define some of her earliest breakout tracks.
The announcement came with the release of Cupcake, a new single that leans into the rapper’s high-energy sugar trap style. The sound marks a shift from Lethal, her 2025 album that moved closer to rap-rock and heavier guitar-driven production.
RX also reunites Rico Nasty with longtime collaborator Kenny Beats, who is now credited as Kenneth Blume. Their creative history runs deep, from early tracks like Smack a Bitch to their 2019 joint mixtape Anger Management, a project that helped sharpen Rico’s explosive mix of punk attitude, rap delivery, and playful chaos.
Dylan Brady of 100 Gecs is also involved in the new album and produced a track called Butthead. With RX, Rico Nasty appears to be reconnecting with familiar collaborators while returning to a brighter, punchier side of her sound.
