This weekend the state is helping Texans stay safe and save money during the Emergency Preparation Supplies Sales Tax Holiday.

This year’s holiday begins at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, and ends at midnight on Monday, April 24.

During that time you can get everything from flashlights to ice chests and other items that could come in handy during an emergency situation tax-free.
