“I’m one of the lucky parents. Early diagnosis changes everything. My son Diezel was off the spectrum being autistic. (Autism activist) Suzanne Wright, who unfortunately just passed, she called me immediately and said, ‘Get him in this program, do this, do that’. She’s been an advocate and helped me so much; I miss her already, I can’t believe she’s gone,” Toni said.
“He’s our social butterfly,” she continued. “He’s the one who plays with friends and hangs out all the time. Very, very fortunate. And I don’t like to think there’s anything wrong with our babies. I just think they learn differently,” she said.
Braxton said Diezel has benefitted from being in multiple programs thanks to the late founder of Autism Speaks, 
Susan McBride.
Braxton, who suffers from her own condition of Lupus, said her upcoming tour will be “challenging” but she’s excited about the “adrenaline” of interacting with her fans.
