An iPad application led to the recovery of stolen property by the Wichita Falls Police Department.

It also led to another charge for a Wichita Falls man that was arrested earlier this week.

Officers said on May 21st, a victim reported being robbed of several electronics by Jack Allen Gant III while asleep in their home.

A few days later the “Find my iPhone” application led police to the Big Daddy’s wrecker on Armory Road. Authorities said they found the stolen electronics in a truck on site.
Gant III was arrested Tuesday after police said he led them on a chase on Taylor Street.
Gant III remains behind bars on bonds totaling $33,500 for Burglary of a Habitation, Trespassing and Evading Arrest.
