The body found by police in a parking lot near the corner of Third and Lee in Wichita Falls has been identified.

In an update given by police, Officers have identified the body as 31-year-old, Helen Fletcher of Wichita Falls. Fletcher’s body was discovered on Thursday morning by an off-duty Wichita Falls Police officer working security in the area.

Police are treating this as a homicide investigation.

Officials have said an autopsy will be performed on the body.

Police also said, while the investigation is on-going, no arrests have been made at this time.
