An arrest affidavit states eyewitnesses to a deadly shooting of a 3-year-old boy in Clay County earlier this week, match up to evidence found at the scene.

The records state George Coty Wayman pointed and discharged the gun that caused the death of the young boy.

Officials said the travel trailer where the shooting took place was processed for evidence and the evidence in the south bedroom of the trailer corroborates the witness accounts.

Wayman is charged with Capital Murder and is in the Clay County Jail.
