An 18-wheeler truck accident closed down a major Texoma freeway for a quite some time in the early hours of Saturday Morning. Police said that the truck was hauling hay southbound on Henry Grace Freeway when the driver lost control, lost control and and slid under an overpass, with the big rig landing on its left side.

Officials said that hay was thrown to both sides of the freeway forcing them to close both north and southbound lanes for nearly two hours. TXDOT was called to assist with cleanup. Wichita Falls Police said that when the truck flipped onto it’s left side, the fuel tank was damaged and diesel leaked out. However, TXDOT was able to clean the spill from the accident.

According to authorities, one person was sent to the hospital but the two other people involved in the incident were unharmed.
