The Wichita Falls Police Department would like to make you aware of a phone scam that is going around Wichita Falls involving the Courtyard by Marriott on Lawrence Road.

According to the hotel manager, random people are being called by an unknown person and told they have won a free night’s stay at the hotel. The “winners” then call the hotel only to find out they have been scammed.

Both the Courtyard by Marriott and the WFPD want you to be aware of this scam so you do not become a victim. Be cautious of any such call especially those in which you have “won” something.
